A. Returns Policy


At Giovelle, we hope you love every piece you order. If something is not quite right, eligible items may be returned in accordance with this Returns Policy.


1. Eligibility for Returns


Items may be returned provided that:

  • they are returned within 7  days of delivery
  • they are unused, unworn, and unwashed
  • they are returned in their original condition
  • all tags, labels, and original packaging are included


We reserve the right to decline a return if the item does not meet these requirements.


2. Non-Returnable Items


The following items are not eligible for return unless faulty or incorrect:

  • personalised or bespoke items
  • hair accessories
  • gift cards
  • sale or promotional items
  • any item not returned in its original condition


3. Return Process


To request a return, please contact us at info@giovelle.co.za with your order number and reason for return.

Once your request has been reviewed, we will provide return instructions.


4. Return Shipping


Unless an item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Giovelle is not responsible for returned items lost or damaged in transit.


5. Inspection of Returned Items


All returned items will be inspected upon receipt before any exchange, refund, or store credit is processed.

All products are subject to availability.

Once an order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation. This does not necessarily mean your order has been accepted. Giovelle reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of:

  • pricing or product errors
  • suspected fraud
  • payment failure

All prices displayed on the website are in South African Rand unless otherwise stated. Giovelle reserves the right to change pricing at any time without notice.

Payment must be received in our bank in full before an order is processed and dispatched.

Delivery timelines are estimates only and may vary depending on location, courier performance, and other factors beyond our control.


7. Intellectual Property


All content on this website, including text, images, branding, logos, and design elements, belongs to Giovelle or is used with permission. No content may be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written consent.


8. Limitation of Liability


To the fullest extent permitted by law, Giovelle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or the purchase of products.

C. Shipping & Delivery Policy


Giovelle delivers across South Africa and if agreed worldwide.


1. Processing Times


Orders are processed within [1–3] business days after payment has been successfully received, unless otherwise stated.

Orders are not processed on weekends or public holidays.


2. Delivery Times


Estimated delivery times will vary depending on your location. Typical delivery timeframes are:


  • Major cities: [1–3] business days
  • Outlying areas: [3–7] business days
  • These timeframes are estimates and not guarantees.


3. Delivery Charges


Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout unless free delivery is offered as part of a promotion.


4. Delivery Address


Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided is complete and accurate.

Giovelle will not be responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect address details.


5. Delays


While we aim to ensure timely delivery, delays may occur due to courier issues, high order volumes, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.


6. Risk and Ownership


Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address provided in your order. Ownership remains with Giovelle until full payment has been received.


7. Damaged or Missing Deliveries


If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, please contact us at info@giovelle.co.za or on WhatsApp within 6 hours of delivery with sufficient proof of damage.


D. Refund Policy


At Giovelle, we take great care in curating every order. Refunds are handled in line with this Refund Policy and our Returns Policy.


1. Refund Eligibility


Refunds may be issued where:

  • an eligible item is returned in accordance with our Returns Policy
  • an item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect
  • an order is cancelled before processing, where possible


2. Refund Method


Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method used at checkout unless otherwise agreed.


3. Refund Timing


Once a returned item has been received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed within [5–10] business days. The time it takes for funds to reflect may vary depending on your payment provider or bank.


4. Non-Refundable Items


Refunds will not be issued for:

  • personalised or bespoke items
  • hair accessories
  • gift cards
  • sale items, where stated
  • items returned used, damaged, or not in original condition


5. Shipping Fees


Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an item being faulty, damaged, or incorrect.


6. Faulty or Incorrect Items


If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us at info@giovelle.co.za or on WhatsApp as soon as possible with your order number and sufficient supporting photographs where applicable.
